Troubleshooting sequence

Identify the issue first, then adjust settings

Connection problems usually come from an unrefreshed subscription, a client that is not managing network traffic, mismatched routing rules, a route that does not match the target region, or local network instability. Change one condition at a time so you can tell which step made a difference.

ACCOUNT

Account subscriptions

Sign-up requirements, device changes, subscription access and client synchronization.

Do I need an email address to create an account?
No email address is required; you can create an account with a username and password. Choose a recognizable username that is not reused for other important accounts, and store your password securely. After signing up, open the user panel to choose a plan, get the client and import your subscription. If you change devices later, simply sign in with the same account.
Do I need to buy again after switching devices?
No. Switching devices does not require another purchase. VPNSZ supports unlimited simultaneous devices and works on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux. Sign in to the same user panel on the new device to get the client and subscription details again. If you no longer use the old device, remove the imported subscription from its local client.
Where can I get and import my subscription details?
Sign in to the user panel and open the client download area. Select the platform for your current device, then follow the instructions to get the client and subscription. Open the client’s subscription management screen and paste or import the information provided by the panel, then choose a route after the update finishes. The marketing site does not provide direct links to static installers or public subscription URLs.
How do I sync an updated subscription link with my client?
Find the imported VPNSZ subscription in the client and use its update or refresh function. Do not keep using the old configuration as a local file. After updating, check that the route list has loaded again, disconnect the old connection and select the route you need. If refreshing fails, delete the old subscription and import it again from the user panel.
CONNECTION

Connection issues

Start by checking the subscription status, system network control, routing rules and platform configuration.

What should I do if my subscription is imported but I cannot connect?
First confirm that the subscription has updated successfully in the client and that a working route is selected. Disconnect the current connection, then try another route in the same region or a different route type. Also check that the system clock is accurate, the client has the required network permissions, and no other network tool is managing the system proxy. Restart the client after completing these checks.
Why does a particular app fail to use the proxy?
A common cause is that the client’s routing rules are enabled and the app’s domain or connection has been classified as a local direct connection. Temporarily switch to a more comprehensive connection mode for comparison. If the app works afterward, review the routing rules and system-proxy status. Some apps cache network sessions before a connection is established, so fully quit and reopen the app.
Is a brief disconnect normal when switching routes?
Switching routes ends the old encrypted connection and makes the client establish a new connection through a different exit. Web requests, streaming buffers or file transfers in progress may therefore pause briefly. Pause important transfers before switching. Once the new route shows as connected, reopen the target page to confirm the exit and access status.
How do I migrate after changing client platforms?
There is no need to copy local configuration files from the old device. Sign in to the same user panel on the new device, open the client download area, select the Windows, macOS, iOS, Android or Linux entry, and import the subscription again. This avoids carrying old system-proxy settings, cached rules or incompatible configuration to the new device.
ROUTES

Speed and routes

Compare connection performance by target region, route type and specific use case.

How should I troubleshoot slowdowns during peak hours?
First rule out local network instability by pausing downloads, cloud sync and video tasks that use the connection. Then refresh the subscription and switch to another route in the same region. If performance is still poor, compare IEPL, relay and direct routes. Choose based on the actual experience on your current network and target service rather than staying with one route permanently.
How should I choose between IEPL, relay and direct routes?
IEPL routes suit situations where cross-border link stability matters most. Relay routes use an intermediate link to improve connection performance in some network environments. Direct routes take a more direct path, but their performance depends more on the local carrier and target region. Filter by purpose and exit region first, then compare using the same website or app.
What if streaming works but shows the wrong content region?
Confirm that the selected exit region matches the region of the content you want to access, and prioritize routes marked for streaming access. After switching, fully quit the streaming app or close the relevant page and reopen it so the old session cannot reuse a cached region decision. Account region, content licensing and payment region may also affect what is shown.
How should I choose a route when AI tools are unstable?
Choose an exit region where the target AI service works normally, then compare different route types in that region. Long chats, file uploads and ongoing generation depend more on connection continuity, so save your work before switching routes. If the page loads but requests fail, reconnect, refresh the page and check whether routing rules are sending the relevant domains through a local direct connection.
Which regions and routes does VPNSZ cover?
VPNSZ offers 100+ countries / 180+ routes, with the route directory organized by region and type. These figures describe the available selection and do not mean every route suits every local network. Choose based on the target service’s region, your local network and the route type, then refresh the subscription and compare again when performance changes.
BILLING

Billing and refunds

Monthly plans, data packages, payment options and refund requests.

What prices and data allowances are available on monthly plans?
Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB and ¥28/month with 500GB. Choose based on your everyday usage and data needs rather than looking only at the allowance on one tier. Prices and availability are shown on the plans page in the user panel; check the current plan before getting started.
When does monthly data reset, and how is a mid-cycle upgrade calculated?
Monthly data resets each month on the activation date, not on the first day of the calendar month. For a mid-cycle upgrade, the price difference is prorated over the remaining days. Before upgrading, check your current subscription status and available plans in the user panel, then submit the change. The client should usually refresh the subscription after the plan status updates.
Do data packages expire, and what sizes are available?
Data packages remain available until used and never expire. Options include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. Data packages use a different billing model from monthly subscriptions that reset each month, making them suitable for usage-based consumption. Check your current subscription and data needs in the user panel before choosing one.
Which payment methods are supported?
Alipay, WeChat Pay and USDT are supported. Open the plans page in the user panel, choose a plan and view the available payment options at checkout. After payment, return to the order or subscription page to confirm the status, then refresh the client subscription. Do not repeatedly submit the same order just because the page takes time to return.
How do I request a refund?
VPNSZ offers 7-day refunds without requiring a reason. To request one, sign in to the user panel, open the ticket area, describe the relevant order and refund request, and keep the information shown on the order page for verification. Read the refund terms before submitting; all refund communication and status updates are recorded in the user panel.
